Fees
Two plans, each with two numbers: Starter is €100 per 30 days plus 0.5% of paid orders; Scale is €299 per 30 days plus 0.25%. The two cost the same at about €80,000 in paid orders per month; above that Scale is cheaper. The usage fee is billed separately to your card. No setup fee, and nothing is ever taken out of your store payments.

The membership
You buy the LatchPay membership on Whop, on the Starter or the Scale plan. It renews every 30 days and is the switch that keeps the checkout running: when it lapses, LatchPay stops creating checkouts and buyers use Shopify's checkout again. The card you use there is the one the usage fee is billed to later. You can switch plans on Whop at any time; your tier is the highest plan that is active, and the new rate applies from the next weekly run. Nothing in LatchPay forces an upgrade.
How the usage fee accrues
The fee (0.5% on Starter, 0.25% on Scale) accrues per paid order and is reduced by refunds. Once a week LatchPay adds up the period, subtracts refunds, applies any carry-over from the previous period, and charges your plan's rate on the result to the card on your LatchPay membership, in your store's currency. Fees under €1.00 (or the equivalent in your store's currency) roll into the next period. A refund on an order that was already billed credits the fee on the next run. If a charge fails, checkouts pause until it succeeds; the charge is retried on the next run. Nothing is ever taken out of your store payments on Whop.
Each weekly charge is a separate Whop payment on your LatchPay membership, with a line such as "0.5% of €9,500.00 GMV, 15–21 Sep", so it is easy to match against your Shopify orders. The dashboard Fees page shows what has accrued, the last and next charge, and the full charge history.
Whop's own fees
Whop charges its own processing fees on each store payment, on your business, and on the membership and fee payments. Those are Whop's fees under Whop's terms; LatchPay does not change or absorb them. The usage fee is never billed as an emailed Whop invoice, which would add an invoice fee on top.
Shopify third-party transaction fees
When a store does not use Shopify Payments, Shopify may add third-party transaction fees to each order. The rate depends on your Shopify plan. That is Shopify's fee and is billed by Shopify; LatchPay does not absorb or hide it.
An example
A store takes €10,000 in paid orders in a week and refunds €500 of it. On Starter the LatchPay charge for that week is 0.5% of €9,500, which is €47.50; on Scale it is 0.25%, which is €23.75. Either way it is billed to the membership card in the store's currency, and the membership (€100 or €299) renews separately every 30 days.
