Fees and billing
The weekly usage fee
Every Monday at 06:00 UTC: paid orders minus refunds plus carry-over, times your rate, charged to the card on your membership. Under €1 rolls over.
Updated
When it runs
Once a week, on Monday at 06:00 UTC. Each run bills, per store, the period from the end of that store's previous one (or from the day you connected the store) up to the start of that day, in whole UTC days. A period that has nothing to bill produces no charge.
How the amount is computed
Paid orders in the period
The store-currency value of every order paid in the period. A partially paid order counts only the share that was collected; test orders are left out.
Minus refunds made in the period
Every refund is subtracted by its own date, whichever period the order was billed in, so a refund on an already-billed order credits the fee here.
Plus any carry-over
A sub-minimum amount or a credit carried from the previous period (next section).
Times your plan rate
0.5% on Starter, 0.25% on Scale, rounded half-up in your store currency. The rate used is recorded on the period.
How it is charged
- A separate Whop payment on your LatchPay membership, charged to the card saved there, in your store currency. Nothing is taken out of your store payments.
- Each charge carries a line such as "0.5% of €9,500.00 GMV, 15–21 Sept 2026, Saint Véloir" (the last part is the store), so it is easy to match against that store's Shopify orders.
- Never an emailed Whop invoice: those add a buyer fee on top.
If the charge fails
That store's checkout pauses until a charge succeeds. The period is retried on the next weekly run, up to three attempts. See A fee charge failed.
The €1 floor and carry-over
A fee under 1.00 in your store currency (€1.00, $1.00, £1.00 and so on) is not charged. The base of that period (orders minus refunds) rolls into the next one, so nothing is lost or double-counted. When refunds exceed sales the base is negative and carries forward as a credit; a fee is never negative and never paid out.
More than one store
- Every store has its own period and its own charge, in that store's currency: a EUR store is billed in euros, a USD store in dollars. Nothing is converted and currencies are never added together.
- All charges go to the same card, the one on your LatchPay membership, at your plan's rate. You pay one membership, whatever the number of stores.
- The carry-over and a failed-charge pause belong to the store they came from; your other stores keep running.
The Fees page
Fees shows the store you have selected in the store menu: what has accrued since its last period at your rate (the same computation the job runs), the last and the next charge, whether a card is known on the membership, your plan with "Change plan on Whop", and the history of every period with its status: skipped, charging, paid or failed. With more than one store an All stores card adds up what was charged and what is still outstanding, one row per currency. A store you disconnected that still owes a fee is listed under Disconnected stores, whichever store is selected, and its amounts are labelled in the All stores card. Home's LatchPay fees tile shows the accrued amount for the selected store and range.
