Sign-in problems

Sign-in is Whop’s OAuth page. No membership found usually means a different Whop account paid; an expired sign-in only blocks the business picker.

How sign-in works

Sign in sends you to Whop's own sign-in page and back; LatchPay has no password of its own. The session lasts seven days in one cookie. The same Whop sign-in is what lets LatchPay list the businesses you administer for the Whop connection.

Signed in, but no membership found

  1. Check which Whop account paid

The membership is looked up on the Whop user you signed in with. If you bought the plan while signed in to another Whop account (a second email, a team member), LatchPay finds nothing.

  2. Press I've paid, check again

Whop is asked right away instead of at the next five-minute refresh. If you paid a minute ago, wait a moment and press it again.

  3. Sign out and in with the right account

The user menu at the bottom of the sidebar has Sign out.

Your Whop sign-in has expired

The Whop page can say "Your Whop sign-in has expired, so LatchPay cannot list your businesses right now." Press Sign in with Whop again; you come back to the same page. An existing connection keeps working meanwhile; only the business picker needs the fresh sign-in.

Sent to onboarding or /subscribe

A merchant whose setup is unfinished lands on the wizard at /onboarding; Go to dashboard at the top right always leaves it. A merchant without an active membership is sent to /subscribe, which shows both plans and a re-check button. Neither is an error.

  • Cookies blocked for latchpay.io keep you on the sign-in page: allow them for this site.
  • A sign-in started in one browser and finished in another fails its security check; start again in one browser.
