Partner program for coaches and communities

Who it is for

Coaches and course creators who teach Shopify or e-commerce, paid communities and groups for store owners, and agencies or consultants who set up stores for clients. If your students, members or clients sell on Shopify, the partner program gives you one link to share with them. Anyone else can join the affiliate program; the commission is the same.

Applying

Apply on the partners page with a LatchPay account; you do not need a LatchPay plan. The form asks for the name your students know you by, an optional logo, your own name for our records, the link where your students find you, your country, and whether you apply as an individual or a business. We review every application by hand, usually within a few days. Until then the affiliate portal shows Under review.

Your welcome page

Once we approve your page, the affiliate portal shows two links: your welcome page (latchpay.io/with/ and your code) and your plain referral link. The welcome page shows Recommended by with the name we approved and your logo if you sent one, what LatchPay does, a short video and a Get started button, and at the bottom, in small text, a line that you are a LatchPay partner and earn a commission. LatchPay writes the page; you cannot add your own text.

Opening your link (latchpay.io/with/ and your code) counts like a click on your referral link: it sets the 60-day cookie, and the last referral link clicked counts. Once the welcome page is open, the address bar shows that same link, so you can share it from there.

What you earn and payouts

The standard rate is €20 when a store you refer pays for its first month of LatchPay, plus 20% of what LatchPay receives from that store for 12 months. When we approve you, we may agree a different rate with you; the portal then shows it with a Custom rate label. Commission is held 30 days, then paid once a month as a transfer to your Whop account when at least €50 is ready (or the minimum in that currency); smaller amounts roll over.

You need a Whop account to receive payouts. Without one you can still apply and share your link; commission is kept until you connect Whop in your portal. Whop asks you to verify your identity before you can withdraw. The details are in Refer and earn.

Saying that you are paid

Dutch advertising rules (the Reclamecode and the ACM) and most platforms ask you to make clear that you are paid when you recommend something. Say it where your audience sees it before they click, for example "Paid partnership with LatchPay" or "Ad: I earn a commission if you sign up through my link", at the start of a post or video and not hidden among hashtags. Your welcome page says it too, in small text at the bottom, but that does not replace your own disclosure.

• Use your own name and logo. Do not present yourself as LatchPay or as part of it, and do not use the LatchPay, Shopify, Whop, Stripe or Mollie names or logos as part of yours.
• Do not call yourself an official, certified or exclusive LatchPay partner.
• Do not promise your students a discount or a deal; there is none.

Changing or removing your page

To change the name or logo, or to take the page down, ask us through the contact form. If your account is paused, the page goes offline and your link sends people to the LatchPay home page without crediting you; when the account is reinstated, the page comes back. While your account is active, your plain referral link keeps working without the page.
