Shop Pay, express buttons and checkout apps
Express buttons are hidden while LatchPay is on because they skip this checkout; checkout apps that inject into Shopify’s checkout do not run.

Why
Those buttons go straight into Shopify's own checkout and its payment providers, so a buyer who used one would skip the LatchPay checkout and the Whop charge. Hiding them is the only way to keep one checkout. The theme line injects a small stylesheet for it and re-applies it when the theme re-renders the cart.
Checkout apps
- Apps that inject into Shopify's own checkout (upsells, custom fields, trust badges on the checkout page) do not run on the LatchPay checkout.
- Storefront apps keep working: cart drawers, bundles, reviews, product-page apps. Their Checkout buttons are intercepted like the theme's.
- Order bumps and post-purchase offers on the LatchPay checkout are not built yet.
Shopify transaction fees
When a store does not use Shopify Payments, Shopify may add third-party transaction fees to each order. The rate depends on your Shopify plan. That is Shopify's fee, billed by Shopify; LatchPay does not absorb or hide it.
Getting them back
Switch the LatchPay checkout off in Settings. The express buttons and Shopify's checkout are back on the next page load; the theme line can stay.
